AI Workflows

How Effitrio’s AI plans work, what starts them, and how approval keeps you in control

AI in Effitrio works through goals: step-by-step plans that can draft content, check expenses, or run helpful workflows (such as overdue invoice reminders).

How AI works

  1. You ask for help in the chat on the Dashboard, or a workflow from Effi Automation starts a goal when it applies.
  2. Effi breaks the request into clear steps. Some steps run on their own; others wait for your approval before anything sensitive happens.
  3. You review pending work in the AI Action Center (sidebar).
  4. After you approve, Effi carries out the plan. You can follow progress (in progress, completed, failed, rejected, or expired).

If chat shows an AI Action Plan that needs approval, open the Action Center and review it before anything is sent or changed.

What can start a goal

  • Questions or requests in Dashboard chat — for example reminders or expense checks
  • Workflows from your Pack — for example overdue invoice reminders
  • Built-in safeguards — Effi may block a repeat run if the same workflow just finished, so clients are not spammed (for example, multiple reminders in a short time)

Reviewing AI proposals

Open the AI Action Center from the sidebar to see each goal’s status, risk level, and summary. Open a goal to review its steps, results, and any email drafts.

For workflows that draft emails, you can edit the subject and body where supported, and choose which drafts are approved to send before you approve the whole goal.

Approving and rejecting

  • Approve goal — lets Effi continue after any required draft approvals are done
  • Reject goal — stops the plan
  • Approve or unapprove a draft — for reminder-style flows, controls which emails may go out when the goal runs

Example goals in Effitrio

  • Invoice overdue reminders — Effitrio drafts payment reminder emails for overdue invoices, waits for your review, then sends only the reminders you approve

Choose what Effi watches and which workflow packs are active under Effi Automation. Automation is where you set things up; this page is how goals run and how you approve them in the Action Center.

Safety and control

  • Your approval is required before sensitive actions (especially emails to clients)
  • Expiry — goals waiting for approval expire after a while so old plans do not hang around forever
  • Limits — your workspace can only have a set number of active goals at once
  • Retries — if a step fails temporarily, Effi may try again a few times before marking the goal as failed
  • No repeat spam — Effi reduces starting the same workflow again too soon after it just finished
